About

DSCF0462

There’s nothing many of us find more mind-numbing, than to write an ‘about page.’ So swiftly getting it out the way, I live in London, UK, and I’ve authored three books; two of which have been published some time back, and haveΒ been relaunched with new covers, titles and price to match the current market and the third ‘Sattvic Tips and Know-Hows,’ is out by the end of October. Still, I feel uneasy to call myself an author, as I was never in the summa cum laude category and never will be. I’m perhaps more accurately described as a GBA (general bugger about).
I am a qualified chef, having studied and worked in various catering establishments in the UK. I’ve traveled the world extensively (living long term in countries like Australia, New Zealand, India and Denmark), gathering knowledge about health, among other things and I’m a practitioner of bhakti-yoga on the Gaudiya-Vaisnava path for many years now. Therefore my interests lies within the remits of health/food, writing and yoga.

P.S. If you ever see any abnormal adverts at the end of my posts, know that they are not mine, but a by product of having this free service, wherein, the wordpress managers allow for this kind of thing. If they become grossly inappropriate, I will naturally report the sites.

Just an aside – if you’ve published a couple of books you can safely call yourself an author! It’s a huge accomplishment. Good luck with your relaunches and your new book. πŸ™‚

  3. Thanks for visiting my blog. I, too, am a writer but not as accomplished as to have two books published. Weel done! I am also very interested in the yogic path and occasionally blog about meditation and yoga as excellent strategies for maintaining balance. I would be grateful for any comments you may leave on those posts in particular, and especially any resources you think might be useful. All the best to you.

Thank you for visiting my blog site. I’m a newbie to blogging yet I started blogging as my life and my body keeps going slower. I’m finding this is one of only things I have left to do. I think my mind is still working part of the time so that should help.
Best wishes, keep on cooking and writing.

As an aspiring writer myself, my ideas are currently still in my notebooks but one day, I want to share them with the world by getting them published. I really liked reading the Advaita-vada blog where you talked about deity worship. A very thought-provoking topic. All the best and take care πŸ™‚
